Dear Friend,

I personally know how it feels to be chubby, soft and out of shape. Only 8 years ago I was completely out of shape...honestly the only term that would describe me was "Couch Potato".

  1. Is "Out of Shape" - Watch out for a trainer who is out of shape (chubby, overweight, etc.). I they can't get themselves in shape...when they literally LIVE at the gym, how are they going to do it for you?

  2. Doesn't get to know you BEFORE making sure you two are a good fit - NEVER, NEVER start working with a trainer who doesn't take at least 30 minutes with you to discuss your goals, commitment, injuries, preferences and schedule BEFORE they claim they can help you.

  3. Is The "Cheapest" - Beware of "discount" personal trainers. This is your body and you only get one. Let me ask you a question: "If you had to drive the same car for the next 50 years, would you take it to the 'cheapest' mechanic you could find?" A shoddy trainer can do much worse than not get you results...he/she could literally injure you.

  4. Won't Guarantee His or Her Service - If a trainer is worth their weight in salt...they should be able to guarantee your satisfaction and results...why leave it to chance?
